Practical information and booking conditions for your lesson with me in Zermatt. Please read these before confirming your session.
Meeting on the slopes
We agree the meeting point on the slopes according to your stated level. I assess your actual ability on snow and choose suitable terrain. Changes to the meeting point or start time require at least 24 hours’ notice and are subject to availability.
Hotel or apartment pickup
Pickup means I meet you at your hotel or apartment, help you obtain your lift tickets and accompany you to the slopes. It is especially useful on your first visit to Zermatt. Pickup costs 35 CHF per booking for half-day sessions and is included in full-day sessions. Afternoon half-day pickup is subject to availability. Taxi fares are not included.
Half-day timing
Please arrive ready at the agreed time. Half-day sessions cannot be postponed or extended, as I may have another lesson in the afternoon. Time missed because of late arrival cannot be recovered.
What the price includes
The listed price covers your lesson or experience with me for up to 4 people. For each additional participant from the 5th to the 8th, add 100 CHF. The maximum group size is 8. These conditions apply to all three offers. Lift passes, equipment rental and taxi fares are not included.
Payment and cancellations
Payment is due when your booking is confirmed. Free cancellation requires at least 3 days’ notice in low season and at least 7 days’ notice in high season. High season covers holiday periods; I will confirm the applicable season with you before you pay.
Weather and resort closures
Bad weather alone does not qualify for a refund. A weather-related refund is available only when all areas of the resort are closed. If some areas remain open, we may move to suitable open slopes instead.
Insurance and personal responsibility
You are responsible for arranging appropriate accident insurance and third-party liability insurance, and for safeguarding your personal belongings. By booking a lesson with me, you acknowledge your own responsibility for third-party liability claims and loss of personal possessions, subject to applicable law. This does not exclude any rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
